Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)

Mixed Martial Arts is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and is a mixture of many sports such as Boxing, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling, just to name a few.

Using this combination of techniques results in a full contact combative sport that allows the use of striking and grappling techniques, while standing or on the ground. MMA has been popularised by the UFC and other large promotions such as Bellator and ACB.

Resilience Training Centre has one of the most experienced MMA coaching Teams in Australia.

Our program is run by head coach and owner Daniel Kellly  who is a UFC fighter with a record of 13 wins and 4 losses. Daniel is also a 4x Judo Olympian and represented Australia at the Commonwealth Games in Wrestling. Daniel is supported by Gustavo Falciroli our Head BJJ professor who is also a professional MMA fighter with a record of 17 wins and 6 losses having fought all over the world in promotions such as ACB and XFC.  Our assistant MMA coach is Ben Seki Sosoli who has knock out power and years of experience. As a professional fighter he has 22 pro fights in MMA, Boxing and K1. Ben has just finished on The Ultimate Fighter season 28 Heavy Hitters and is preparing for his UFC debut.

Resilience offers a MMA program for both beginners and advanced fighters.

We recommend that students also train in the No Gi ,BJJ and Judo classes during the week to increase their skill level, students can train in an unlimited amount of classes as part of their membership  ( excluding crossfit, which can be added for an additional fee) . For students who are advanced we also offer MMA classes during the week not listed on our timetable, these are invite only and our program can be discussed during your trial.  Currently Resilience Training Centre has a very successful Amateur and Professional MMA Team and we are proud to support MMA in Australia.
