What is CrossFit?

The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness. The CrossFit program seeks to prepare trainees for any physical contingency.

Each class is unique and the workout of the day (WOD) is not posted onto the CrossFit website until the end of the day, so you never know what is ahead of you.

CrossFit combines gymnastics, weightlifting and metabolic conditioning in varying degrees and durations to create unparalleled results. From the basic body weight movements all the way to the very technical muscle up and Olympic lifts, we utilise them all and make it workable for anyone at any level of fitness. These work outs build strength, endurance, agility, technical ability, and general awareness of body and mind by training movements that support functional ability.

Is CrossFit for me?

YES. CrossFit is designed so that all workouts are scalable to allow for all levels of fitness, experience and age, making this strength and conditioning program for anyone. The RTC CrossFit community has many athletes from other sports using the CrossFit classes as a complimentary strength and conditioning program. We also have people returning to fitness, those starting for the first time, mums, dads and those looking to try something different. No matter how hard the work out of the day is, we complete it as a team and everyone leaves feeling like they have had fun.
